When Ido and I founded Loops, it wasn't to change the world, at least not all of it at once.
We saw a specific problem (from our own experience) in how product teams struggle to get insights to grow their products, and we knew it must be fixed. We knew the solution couldn’t be in the form of another dashboard; it had to be something else.
The company is growing fast, with some big names taking interest in the solution (Fortune 500 names); it’s an incredible roller coaster and, of course, there’s a long journey ahead of us.
But, occasionally, we get messages showing us that Loops is growing into something much more...
...than a solution for finding actionable insights; Loops changes the way product and analytics teams work.
Last week, an analyst from a big B2B company sent a screenshot from their Slack channel. The company recently had a significant use case launch (collections of features), and they used Loops since an AB test was impossible to conduct.
With Loops, the analyst was able to generate in-depth insights, including:
- The causal effect of the new feature/use case
- See specific segments where the impact was the biggest
- Effect on the other features and more...
All this led to the decision to double down on this new use case. It was a win for Loops, but most importantly, for the analyst.
But, what the analyst shared with me wasn’t just the results; he chose to emphasize the amount of positive feedback he got from his colleagues on that Slack message.
We set out to change how companies get actionable insights, but we never dreamed we'd have such an impact on data analysts and their outcomes.
Loops empowers data analysts, helping them deliver actionable insights in a way they couldn't before.
But most importantly, we help data analysts get the recognition they deserve and move to the forefront of the decision-making process.
That's a big win for us at Loops, and this is what I call “change-led growth” - we grow by making a change.
And yes, we haven't changed the analytics world (yet), but we’re well on our way.
